What’s waiting for us in July, in Dolj

Summer is hot in Dolj, but that doesn't stop us from making plans and participating in activities and festivals. Here are the main events that will take place in July, in our county!

The sixth edition of the festival of young directors from Craiova, Theater Networking Talents, takes place at the beginning of July, more precisely between July 2 and 5. This year's edition means six shows presented by young directors, two surprise shows, a concert that will surely delight you, a series of events dedicated to dramaturgy and translations, debates, films, workshops and, of course, unforgettable parties!

After a successful first edition that took place last year in Cernătești commune, the „Film în Sat” festival, conceived by actor Cuzin Toma and supported by the Dolj County Council, returns this year in Cernătești. Thus, between July 5 and 7, „Film in Sat” comes to the middle of the Doljean village with workshops, film screenings, concerts and a unique atmosphere, which we started to like! The "Aman" library offers us another summer full of education and fun, with another edition of the "Fun in Summer" project. As part of this project, which is aimed at students from grades I-IX, they will benefit from several courses and workshops, as well as film or game screenings, according to the following schedule:

- Mondays: - Movie Club (July and August, grades V-VIII, 10.00-12.00)
- Tuesday: - Junior Designer (July, grades V-VII, 09.00-11.00)
- Tuesday: - Youtube Video Production (July, classes VII-IX, 11.00-13.00)
- Wednesday: - Games Day (July and August, grades V-VIII, 10.00-12.00)
- Thursday: - Spanish language club (July and August, grades VI-VIII, 10.00-11.00)
- Friday: - MeetIT (July, grades I-II, 10.00-11.00)
- Friday: - MeetIT (August, 3rd and 4th grades, 10.00-11.00)

Registrations are made until June 28, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., subject to availability, at the head office of the "Alexandru și Aristia Aman" County Library, the Mediateca and American Corner section, or by phone at 0251.522.393. Registrations are only required for YouTube Video Production, Junior Designer, MeetIT and Spanish Language Club courses.

The "Adrian Păunescu" International Festival returns this year to Craiova, for the tenth edition. The event pays tribute to the great poet who managed to create a real trend around him and consists of concerts, book launches, but also a national folk music competition. All this will take place between July 19-20, in Craiova.
