The 26th edition of Craiova Days, with plenty of surprises. See the full program here!
Events for all tastes and ages are prepared for the residents of Craiova and not only this year, on the occasion of the 26th edition of Craiova Days. Thus, between June 1 and 5, the city will turn into a celebration that will include spectacular shows, concerts, exhibitions, fairs, workshops and many other events aimed at promoting the beauty of our area, in all its splendor.
During the city days, we will also have a unique air show, on June 3, at Craiova Airport. We are talking about the Craiova Air Show, which will mean, in one place, 40 civil and military aircrafts and 50 pilots. The show will start at 11:00 and will last about seven hours, so be prepared for a unique dose of adrenaline! Entrance is free, and access is via Calea București 325C, from the High-Tech Industry Park Craiova.
Another unmissable event within Craiova Days is HOMAGE – Digital Art Event, a tribute to the sculptor Constantin Brâncuși by international digital artists from Great Britain, USA, Italy, Japan, France, Holland or Kuwait. Thus, 45 foreign artists and four Romanians will exhibit their works dedicated to Brâncuși, on screens brought especially for the event. The event will take place at the "Constantin Brâncuși" Center, between June 1-5, and entry will be free.
Gourmet amateurs and gourmands will also enjoy themselves during the Food Truck Festival, also held between June 1 and 5. "Mihai Viteazul" Square will be full of chefs' trucks coming from all over the country to Craiova and determined to delight your taste buds!
We can't talk about this time of year without mentioning the FCI World Rescue Championship, where you can see the world's most skilled rescue dogs and dog teams in action! The event will be opened on June 1, at 5:00 p.m., in "Mihai Viteazul" Square, and the trials will take place at the Athletics Stadium, in the "Doctor's Inn" Forest, but also at the former slaughterhouse in Podari commune. We keep our fingers crossed for all participants and encourage you to go see what these rescue operations are really all about!
