Magical November, in Craiova
The month of November promises to be one full of events for all tastes, all of which are complemented and rounded off by the opening of the Craiova Christmas Market, which is the first to start at the national level among the seasonal events.
November 17 – Inauguration of the Craiova Christmas Market
The magic of Christmas will once again take over the entire city, with the opening of the Craiova Christmas Market, the first of its kind to be officially inaugurated in the country. More than 2 million LEDs will illuminate the entire city, and different activities, treats for all tastes and cultural events will "spice up" the whole of Craiova until the end of the Winter Holidays.
November 6 – Omul cu Șobolani, live at Curtea Berarilor Craiova
For those in love with rock, for the rebels, but also for those in love, well, we tell you that in just a few days we have a super concert at Curtea Berarilor Craiova: Omul cu Șobolani! Known for their music that has written history over the last 25 years in Romania and beyond, the boys from OCS promise a unique show, as part of the tour to promote the new single, "Everybody's Wrong". November 11 - "The Miser", by Moliere, at the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater
On November 11, from 19:00, you are invited to the play "Avarul" by Molière, directed by Felix Alexa, with Claudiu Bleonț in the main role! An acting royal staged at the "Marin Sorescu" National Theater brings, once again, to the fore, the satirical comedy of the French playwright. November 16 - "Why is my name Nora when my sky is clear" - screening and meeting with the writer Nora Iuga at VIP Inspire Cinema
Contact with other stories can always inspire us for our own lives! Romania's legendary writer, Nora Iuga, aged 92, comes to Craiova to meet readers, fans and more. The occasion? Screening of the film "Why is my name Nora when the sky is clear", directed by Carla-Maria Teaha, a film with and about the adorable Nora Iuga and her unique way of feeling and creating. It's all happening on November 16th, starting at 7pm, so get your tickets and attend a one-of-a-kind date!
November 24 - "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff, at the "Oltenia" Philharmonic
The vocal-symphonic masterpiece signed by Carl Orff, "Carmina Burana", can be heard at the end of November at the "Oltenia" Philharmonic, where the audience will have the opportunity to taste the uplifting feeling that the German composer managed to put into the scores for a whole world to enjoy it!
