Aici vă puteți bucura de o plimbare prin aleile japoneze, puteți trece porți tematice din lemn și puteți intra într-un foișor în stil pagodă. Dacă mergi mai departe, poți intra într-o colibă africană de lut cu acoperiș din stuf și picturi murale și te poți relaxa într-unul dintre hamacele care atârnă între copaci. După plecarea din zona africană, vă puteți bucura de o băutură pe o terasă ca în Grecia în zona Mediteraneană.

The Debarcader Park in Calafat is located close to the Danube river. It was renovated in 2014, being decorated with benches, flowers, lawn etc.

It covers an area of 4670 square meters and it is located in the heart of the city. The Unirii's garden bears this name, because it reminds of important events unfolded in 1857 in Craiova, and because it hosts the imposing statue of the prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza (sculptor Rafaello Romanelli). The garden had other names too, but most often it is called English Park, as it reminds of the London square pattern. It includes decorative trees and shrubs and a carpet of flowers, which are periodically replaced, depending on the flowering period. Originally, it was named the Garden of Bania, due to its location in the old hearth of Craiova, where the Bania House and the Cathedral of St. Dumitru are located. In 1978, here was erected an imposing monument, in the memory of the Buzeşti brothers, the captains of Michael the Brave. It is located in the eastern part of the city, with access to the E576 road leading to Bucharest. In the 1980s, the water catchment area of ​​the Valea Hanul Doctorului brook, having 2.4 sqKm and 800 m length, has been transformed into a beautiful park with pedestrian alleys, a hotel complex, swimming pool and camping. The course of the brook was arranged in five small water accumulations, which became swimming pools, and downstream in three small accumulations behind some dikes in the ground. The structure of the entire park, in the form of nicely landscaped steps through dams and water shades, sums up a wide variety of tree and shrubs species, harmonized in the diversified herbaceous carpet. The Tineretului Park in Bailesti is one of the most important tourist attractions in the city. In 2012, the park was renovated with financing from the European Union and it was decorated with benches, pillars, trees and shrubs, gazebos and artesian fountains. The history of the park begins in 1879, when the prefect of the county proposed that part of the meadow situated on the territory of the Mofleni estate should be transformed into a park. The Council sent the proposal to the Ministry of Finance which approved the start of the work. In 1882, the park was ready. On March 21, 1900 the Craiova City Hall took over the Mofleni Park. The Lunca Jiului Park was inaugurated as the Tineretului Park in 2009. Decorating the park consisted in preserving the existing tree species and other biodiversity elements. The park covers an area of 60 ha and it features a great biodiversity of vegetation. The paved roads and alleys occupy 9% of the entire area. Encountered species of trees: oak, cerris, hornbeam, elm field tree , platan, black alder. Shrubs: dogwood, Cornus sanguinea, hawthorn, elder. Herbaceous plants: violas, fumeworts, violets, snowdrops, anemones, creeping buttercup. It is the largest natural park in Eastern Europe and one of the most representative monuments of landscape art in Romania. It covers about 90 ha, the green areas, the alleys and the forested areas give it the statute of the largest urban green area in Romania. It was inaugurated in 1903 in the presence of King Carol I. The landscape architect Edouard Redont brought the project of the future Romanescu Park to the Paris International Exhibition (1900) and the project was awarded the Golden Medal. The park was built in a romantic style, as a synthesis of architecture and landscape painting. In 1930, the park was named "Park N. P. Romanescu". Eventualy, new elements were added: the portal at the entrance, the fencing, the pier was extended, the lighting was modernized, a greenhouse of 1050 sqm was built. The park has preserved its components in time, according to the original concept of the landscape architect Redont. Within the arranged ensemble, there are elements such as: the long water courses of over 1970 m, the 27 km long alleys, the monumental entrance, the Romanescu monument, the Bibescu House, the Iron Kiosk, the medieval castle, the lake and the pier, the impressive Suspended Bridge, the waterfalls, the Great Lake, the Zoo, the horse racing track, the Velodrome, the summer theatre and numerous statues and statuary ensembles, some belonging to illustrious artists (Brâncuşi or Jalea). In 1943, at the main entrance, it was erected a bust of N. Romanescu, as a tribute to the one who was so involved in building the park. Access to the park is free of charge.
