About

Originally, it was named the Garden of Bania, due to its location in the old hearth of Craiova, where the Bania House and the Cathedral of St. Dumitru are located.
In 1978, here was erected an imposing monument, in the memory of the Buzeşti brothers, the captains of Michael the Brave.
There are many species of thuja, Virginia juniper (Juniperus virginiana), black pine, spruce, Buxus sempervirens, yew (Taxus baccata), silver linden (Tilia tomentosa), American chestnut (Fraxinus americana), horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum), white mulberry (Morus alba in pendulum shapes), etc.
