However, this day cannot go unnoticed, so we propose some different gift ideas for those around us, through local culture and events.
For music lovers, but also for romantics, we propose an evening at the "Oltenia" Philharmonic, with "Echoes" made of the music of Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky and Scriabin, together with the soloist Csiky Boldizsar (piano). A trip to the theatre can be considered a gift, but also an unrepeatable experience! The guys at Tipografia are waiting for you on Sunday, March 8th, from 7:00 PM, for a current adaptation of the play "A Lost Letter". Because feminine energy is something that delights us especially during this period, it just so happens that Irina Rimes will arrive in Craiova, this very weekend. So, on March 7, the artist will delight us with her "Descântatele"! The exceptional show will be hosted by the Polyvalent Hall, and you can find tickets here:
And, because the weather is expected to be nice this weekend, we can't help but remind you: with the single ticket for culture, which you can buy both at the cashiers of the three museums under the Dolj County Council and also online, on the websites of these institutions, you can visit seven places full of history and information, both in Craiova and beyond, in Dolj. These are the Craiova Art Museum, the Oltenia Museum (the three sections plus the Cernătești and Izvoranu-Geblescu Towers) and the Museum of the Book and Romanian Exile.
Last but not least, starting from Friday, March 6, all the spring symbols – mărțișoare – created by 300 schoolchildren, in the workshops hosted by the Ethnography Section of the Oltenia Museum, will be able to be admired in the temporary exhibition "Parada Mărțișoarelor", hosted by Casa Băniei.
